Qantas Airlines

This deserves a blog entry of its own. I travelled from Rio to Sydney via Sao Paulo, Miami and LA. Don't ask... it was 42 hours of complete exhaustion and delirium.

After not getting any sleep the night before my 7am hotel departure- I didn't set myself up for an easy travel experience. I had to fly to SP and spend 12 hours in the airport before my next flight. Brazil is infamous for cancelling and delaying flights for no reason at all, so I could not chance taking a later flight. My flight was delayed, but not by much.

I wont bore you with my zombie like experience and to be quite honest I don't really remember it. What I do remember is my last flight. LA to Sydney on Qantas... my new favorite airline. My word! It was great. The DTV's were amazing.. I watched Little Miss Sunshine, Love Actually, October Sky and the start of a couple of other doozies. Point is they had so much to choose from! Now onto the food... it was better than any meal I ate in Brazil! My one gripe is that they bring too much food around... I was a stuffed lil' piggie, but I bet that helped put me to sleep! The fligth attendants were the sweetest and most cheerful... Fly Qantas! and PS... American Airlines was the worst...

I am now in SYDNEY... so excited! I am feeling quite off today... so I am going to do the walk from Congee Beach where I am staying to Bondi Beach. Also going to a travel agent about making some arrangements... promise to write more often!

Hi Gianna, Ben sent me the link to catch up on your travels. Spoke to Craig last week and he said he can't wait to accomodate you in Melbourne. He's even evicted his housemate for 2 weeks. Mentioned something about unfinished business.......

Glad you're having fun, take care
